Karwar is the district head quarters of Uttara Kannada district. Karwar is a good starting point for the journey to discover the thrills of the sea, sand and sun. Karwar is one of the perfect holiday destinations. The Kali river bridge, located at the confluence of the river and the Arabian Sea, dominates the landscape of the city.
Karwar has a number of beautiful beaches and idyllic beauty inspired the great Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore to pen his first play.

Devbagh is the most enchanting of Karwar five islands along the coast. The Devbagh Beach, is a must for the beach lovers. Approach to Devbagh is mainly by boat from Kodibag jetty. Jungle Lodges & Resorts provides a unique experience of living in Log huts.
